9 Mile Run in La Jolla, San Diego, CA August 5 2014

Today I went to La Jolla to run. I intended to park near the La Jolla Community Beach, but it was very crowded. I ended up parking on Vallecitos, north of La Jolla Shores Drive. I tried to run as close to the coast as possible for most of the run. The scenery is quite good, as evidenced by the photos taken during today's run. Even though I have been to La Jolla so many times, I found some good places today during the run. This is one of the side benefits of running. I get to discover more than what I normally would in a place. Smart phones really change the lives of many. It also helps my run to navigate, not to mention the camera in the phone. GPS watch is another great addition to my run. The recorded route and run statistics are priceless. When I look back to my running life later on, the route information will bring back so much memory, which I think is what we get left with eventually.
