I started the run at Sunset Park where the Silverstrand Half Marathon would start. I then made it over to the ferry side of the island. Beautiful views abound looking across the bay. It was a hot day at 30C. But the course is almost flat, making it easier to move along. This run allowed me to look at the Coronado Bay Bridge from under the bridge. The Coronado golf course is pretty big. My original plan was to along Tarawa road, but I could not get through since it belongs to the Naval Surface Force restricted area. So I went across the Silverstrand Boulevard and started heading back to Sunset Park along the beach walk.
